The one aspect of psychology which I found to be the most interesting was that of Cognitive Psychology. The cognitive revolution prompted psychologists to concentrate their efforts on learning more about the mind and mental processes that underpin behavior. As a result, cognitive psychology is the branch of psychology that studies cognitions, or thoughts, and how they relate to our experiences and behaviours. Cognitive psychology, like biological psychology, has a broad reach and frequently involves collaborations among persons with a variety of disciplinary backgrounds. Cognitive psychologists are interested in a wide range of areas, including concentration, conflict resolution, communication, and recollection.
